Once again, I’ve been absent far too long. But there’s a good reason. It’s not like I was partying away ‘till dawn or lounging about the pool in Costa Rica. I wish! I was facing TWO fast approaching book deadlines and it was crunch time. I worked harder than I ever have in my life. More about one of the books below. Meanwhile here’s a peek at the cover and a few of the pics from the book.
Now that I've gotten them out of the way (for now!) here’s what you can expect from me going forward—
Later this week you’ll get a post all about how I managed to write my very first novel while working full-time. It definitely was not easy but I did it. And it didn’t take me forever—less than a year. I include my personal story as well as lot of useful tips. It’s already written, just needs polishing. So be on the lookout for that.
Then from now on you’ll get regular posts from me, usually weekly, with all kinds of advice and guidance on writing. If you check my page on Substack you’ll see that I renamed it Creativity for Fiction Writers ‘cause that’s what I’m focusing on from now on. Doesn’t mean I won’t talk about other writing topics like plotting and characterization. I will, but mainly within the context of creativity, which is so important when writing fiction.
And now about my new book. I’ve been working really hard on this and it drops this week—on December 5 to be exact. It’s a nonfiction book about style and glamour among some really fashionable dressers age 50+. It includes lots of photos taken by Milton Washington, a fantastic photographer who collaborated with me on the project. You can find it just about everywhere, including on Amazon, where you’ll also see lots of stunning pics from the book. Here’s the link—STEPPING OUT on Amazon.
Alright, that’s it for now.
